A powerful stand for parental rights at the CWSB Exeter rally

#TheHomeEdDaily #ChildrensWellbeingBill #AreYouListeningNow #HomeEducation #ParentalRights

On Saturday, home educators, parents, and supporters came together across the country to stand up for parental rights, educational freedom, and the protection of children. The rallies were a testament to the strength and determination of families who refuse to be silenced.

I'm proud to have been one of the rally team organisers for the Exeter CWSB protests. As a long-time home educator and advocate, I’m passionate about protecting parental rights and educational freedom—which is exactly what’s at stake with this bill. The past month has been all about raising awareness, sharing key information, and encouraging people to take action.

I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended, spoke, and helped organise these events. Your voices matter, and together, we made a powerful statement against the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill.

What’s Next?

The fight doesn’t end here. The government must hear loud and clear that parents, not bureaucrats, should decide what is best for their children. We must keep the momentum going by:

✔ Writing to MPs and as many Lords as you can. There’s 800+ Lords listed and demanding scrutiny of the bill.

✔ Continuing to share information and raising awareness.

✔ Pushing for meaningful education reform that supports, rather than controls, families.

Once again, thank you to every single person who took part. Whether you attended a rally, shared posts, or helped spread the word—you are making a difference.

Let’s keep going. Our children’s future depends on it. 💪
